Total money lost $800

Type of a scam Tech Support

I started having computer problems in Feb. My computer froze up and it stated I was hacked. A number for microsoft help appeared and i called number. The lady on the phone Sandra helped me and provided a security program remotely and fixed my computer so that it returned to normal. She quoted me a price for fixing my computer and the software which I paid. She called a few days later and asked how the computer was working and gave me a number to call for future issues. About a month later a guy named Sam called saying that they were getting ready to renew my subscription for software usage. I told him "no" and that I wanted to cancel the subscription which he said that I had to pay for the remainder of the year. He gave me a cancellation number and I paid for the remainder of the year. About a month later Sam called me again saying I owed money for the firewall protection. I refused to pay and I’m awaiting the action the company will take. It’s been about three months and I received another call from Sam about payment. I told him I wasn’t going to pay at which point he said they would take money from my account. In total I’ve paid the company $800.
