January 29, 2018 A Latino man approached me and said they would seal the driveway for me with top grade sealer for $79.00. I said no thank you, he said that today they do the job for $39.00. I said "the whole driveway for $39.00?" He said yes. I said ok and he started working. The boss then approached me and said ok, at $39.00 a gallon, I’ll probably need 10 to 15 gallons. I said tell your man to stop, I don’t have that kind of money. He ignored me and started telling me all the benifits of his product. I told him to stop. The worker was still working and was now about a third of the done. I told the boss that I didn’t have the money to pay for the job. He said go get the money from your bank, I said no. I went in the house and about 3 minutes later he knocked on the door and said if I could get the cash, he would only charge me $200. For the whole job. I left and went next door to my sister’s house and borrowed the money from her. When I returned he said that he left the bottom of the drive undone so I could park my car there. No, finish the job, he said he couldn’t because the bottomof the drive was township easement and he would have to get a permit. I told him that was nonsense and to finish the job. Then he told me that the wand was clogged and they would have to come back to finish. I should have run away then but instead I filled out the contractors invoice with all my information and none of his. I told him I would only pay him $100.00 and the rest when he returned. He begged me to give him $150.00 so he could pay his workers. I gave him $200.00 and asked for the $50.00 back and of course he didn’t have any change. He said he’d be back one day next week. I’m sure I’ll never see him again
