At our place of business we received a call stating our electric was due to be cut off in the next hour if the past due was not paid. We were told since it was scheduled that the only way to keep it on was to go to dollar general and get a money pak card and call back with the receipt number. When we asked if we could take cash to local office we were told that those payments were not credited until the end of the day. Of course once we did this we could not get in touch with them. Since we run a restaurant we were worried about power being off. We were not able to call the local office to confirm. Once we finally did, we were told it was a scam.
