I applied for an Executive Secretary position with Scarlett Consulting International and was granted an interview via Google Hangouts. THe interview was conducted via messaging and I was told that I would be hired on a trial basis for data entry before deciding if they would move forward with the Exec Secretary position because they are opening a new office. The HR manager Eddie Wilson, told me to contact the vendor for my “work-from-home” supplies. After contacting the vendor, Automated Inventory & Management Services, I was sent an invoice for $4,690 and told that the items would be sent out 2-3 days after 40% of the total due was paid. I forwarded the information to Mr. Wilson and he stated that I should work with them to configure all my equipment; however, he stated that a check would be mailed to me and that I needed to be up and running by September 2, 2019. The second person (the vendor) asked for 40% of the total due.
