Type of a scam Charity
Received a call seemingly from the local Salvation Army (the mentioned my local city – Eugene). They requested more funds as the funds are low and the need is great. I would not commit to any funds. I told them to email me and I would consider it. The caller (female) asked if my email was correct and quoted my email and also my current address. When I received the email, it showed a .com address. I called the local Salvation Army and they are not calling anyone for funds.
