Thomas Wilks, D.A 570-606-0752 called Aunt States John Doe has been arrested for auto accident/driving on a suspended license. Other vehicle injured a woman 6 months pregnant and in the hospital Bail 5500.00. The scammer called my Mom and my Aunt claiming to be the DA from Salt Lake City, Utah. Said I was in an accident and hit a pregnant woman and was in jail in Provo, Utah. I needed 5,500 bail money. Left a phone number. My Aunt called me to see if I was ok and to tell me about it. She gave me the number she was given and I called it. The person that answered the phone I told the story to that was told to me Aunt and that I was reporting it to the Justice Dept. in Sacramento, California and if they had procedure for this type of false reports. The voice stammered and I heard the phone click. They hung up.
