Type of a scam Online Purchase
Responded to a posted offer for sale of Rv. Immediately said price ok and offered to purchase but was in NY and too busy working to pick up so would negotiate shipping then email full payment. Got an e-transfer for 750.00 more than selling price and a message saying we should pay the shipper then the e transfer would be released. We responded suggesting he pay the shipper directly then pay us r.only the selling price. Haven’t heard back from him.
