I hired 2 guys who quoted me to rebuild my bathroom, the deal was 3,500 upfront, and then the other half when it was completed. I gave a list in detail to everything I wanted to complete. I paid for all materials separately from the labor cost. They come to find out were not licensed, not qualified and did not pull permits. They did very shotty work. They on some days refused to show up, left very early every day, they essentially made me feel intimidated to even question them or advise them I did not believe the job was being done correctly. Half way through the job, they told me I needed to pay them the rest owed to them or they werent coming back, so I did. They rushed through the completion of the job and left MANY things incomplete or not correctly installed from the start. I spent my retirement money to repair my home, and they caused equally as much damage in the repair than corrective measures. They have damaged my plumbing, did not put up a structure wall where a sliding door was removed and essentially bullied me out of the rest of the money I agreed to and still never completed their work. I am extremely upset by this because now I have to pay another company to fix their mistakes. My new sink leaks all over my new counter in the bathroom, they never installed my handicap bar in my shower, did not complete the wall, they destroyed plumbing, they did very shotty work in the main bathroom by cutting the drywall incorrectly and then unevenly placing a trim piece to hide the work, too many issues to count.
