Type of a scam Online Purchase
On September 11, 2017, I attempted to make an online purchase of a skin care product with a company called Revitol. The amount of the purchase was $42.95 After I made my selection and entered my debit card information, this company debit $42.95 from my account twice. Fortunately, my bank contacted me and reversed the charge. No less than a minute or two later, this same company (under two different names Health Buy and Global Store) attempted to deduct $36.18 and $43.97 from my account again. Once again, my bank reversed the charges. I had to go to a bank branch, close out my debit card and get a temporary card. The customer service representative I spoke to gave me the merchant’s telephone number as 818-303-9277 – the number on the website is 818-303-9260 — same company
