Olivia Porter is a scam; I have received an email the same way as above saying that my resume was found on indeed. I thought it was sketchy, but I wanted to go all the way because this is a new strategy. Whoever is behind this told me to add him or her on hangouts; the following is our conversation.
Hello …
Hi
How are you?
I am doing fine, what about you?
Thank you, im good
Now I will tell you about your work. Are you ready to chat now?
yes
Now we are preparing for you the first task.
What you need
yes
1) Get money from our Buyer-client (direct deposit or check)
2) Cash this money (withdraw money)
3) Send money to our Seller-client through Western Union or Bitcoin
Later we will clarify which payment method will be more convenient for Seller-client to accept money.
Can you do it?
of course
Ok
Since you will be working with money, for security reasons you need to confirm your identity. Please take a photo(selfie) with your ID/DL/Passport in your hand and send it to me.
Unfortunately, cases of fraud have become more frequent. People register for work with us using someone else’s name, they send other people’s copies of documents. They receive money from our customers and disappear. Therefore, we introduced additional identification measures.
I have already sent a copy of my ID
Now you need to take a selfie with the document in your hand.
sent
Ok
Our client will send you a check to your mailing address. Can you cash it out as soon as you receive the check?
I would fill more comfortable wire transferring it to the seller
I say what you will need to do.

Don’t waste your time with that person; it’s definitely a scam just like the other ones

Type of a scam Employment

I received an email from what I thought was an HR department that found my resume on InDeed, asking me to reply if I was interested in a job. Then I would be sent another email from the manager. I received the email from the manager (Olivia Porter) who sends a link for an application and a job description. I looked at the job description first. ( sounded strange) I Did not fill out the application but if I had done that first, I’m afraid they would have had all of my personal identifiable information.
