I received a letter in the mail telling me I had won 500,000. in a International Sweepstakes and Compensation drawing on March 11. They gave me a entry number and said if was attached to my name and matched one of the lucky numbers in the drawing. I never entered any drawing. In the letter was a Certified Check for 7,995.25 from Global financial aid services inc drawn on Hancock Bank in Gulfport, MS. according to the letter the check was for me to pay the Tax and Insurance on my winnings. Tax on winnings 7,500. and Insurance on winnings 100. The letter told me to contact my claims agent Andy Cole at 778-714-0375 before I did anything with the check. The check reduced my winnings to 492,004.75. I did not call them back and did not put the check in my bank because I believe this is a scam.
