Type of a scam Tech Support
A pop-up appears saying that spyware has affected my computer and to call the number given immediately so they can take us through the steps to get rid of it. When called, they tried to sell anti-spyware to me and wanted my checking account information. He said he was from QuickFix and a Microsoft Technician and if I ignored the message, my computer would be locked to protect their network. I hung up, but he was very persistant and called me back 7 times from 3 different numbers. Has to be a scam!
