I was recently receiving emails about my Amazon Prime account. I contacted Amazon who suggested different things for me to do, but then I started doing research on my own. Saturday I found what I thought was a Google help website but it ended up being a scam website. They ended up taking over my laptop to do repairs and charged me $399.00 by electronic electronic check for 3 years of support and virus protection. Once it was all said and done, I began to feel something wasn’t right and called my son. He told me it sounded like a scam.
