Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received an email from someone claiming to be QSI Specialists LTD. They claimed to be a secret shopper company, and I had been approved to work for them. They sent me a check, which I cashed, to do some work. Something didn’t seem right, so whenever they texted or emailed me, I asked them questions. They gave me a phone number which didn’t work, so I couldn’t call anyone. A few days after I cashed the check, I stopped getting notifications from them. I looked into my account and saw that my bank had removed the money and claimed that it was fraudulent. I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
