Scammer is selling puppies online. Undisclosed additional fees. Kept asking for more and more money. When asked for a refund, was told that he "was at work" and to "be patient." When I finally got someone on the phone, he was very obviously not from USA. Has been reported to FTC and FBI.

Pura Kennels and others are a scam! You purchase a puppy using Zelle or a number of other options that are only paid through a way that you send them money directly into their account. Then they make arrangements to have them shipped for you. They use another bogus air line called United Air Pets to deliver your puppy only to go through a bunch of lies till the end then tell you your puppy has passed all health issues with flying colors but the pets lack the required travel insurance premium. In my case they wanted an additional $950.00 for insurance to cover anything that might happen during transportation. I then went back to Pura Kennels to let them know and he says it’s all refundable when you receive your puppies. I said they’re not mine until they’re in my possession and if it’s fully refundable why don’t you pay it and then you get it back once they’re delivered. His reply was I don’t have the money and that the money I paid him for the puppies has already been spent on puppy paperwork and getting arrangements made to have them shipped. I said well how are you making any profit if you’re using it all up on paperwork and shipping. His reply is we’re not selling puppies to make profit. I asked for my money back several times and have not heard from him since. This company is operating illegally and needs to be put down. I have much more I could say but it’s too much to put here. I will not stop until this company and I believe they have other websites online doing the same thing. Beware.

We purchased a puppy online through a google search and found one reasonably priced through Pura Kennels. The price was $550.00 plus a $100.00 shipping charge. We were supposedly contacted by a shipping company that the puppy was ready to ship but we must pay $950.00 insurance. Of which it claimed that we would receive 95% back if there was no issue with the puppy upon arrival. I refused to put up the money thinking then it was all a scam. Upon demanding a refund, the seller said that i was not entitled because I paid for the paperwork and shipping. They stopped communicating thereafter.
Another trigger is that both the seller and shipper (United Air Pets) were both speaking in broken english with an Arab accent.
