Caller stated I had won $2.5 million and a new car. I needed to pay $495 to get the prize. I needed to give cash to someone they would send to my house to get the CASH. They kept calling me, because I didn’t call them back when I had the cash. By then I had googled this scam. Do not give money to get money.

Michael Collins called from Publisher’s Clearing House, broken English. Wanted customer to give him $289 before they came with the money. Go to Walmart and meet somebody there to collect money. He said she won $885,000. He had her address, but wanted to know what bank she banked with to send the lottery winnings to. He also gave the name of executive VP, Debra Holland. He asked her if she lived alone. She said no, she lived with a group of people

I got a call from a Mr. Mikael Green. he gave me a phone # for a manager Albert Lopez 1-876-432-2000 ext 5. to give him a claim # 7542158593. called the 800 number and Mr. Lopez told me I had won 1.5 million dollars and a 2018 Mercedes Benz. all I needed to do is drive to the closest Walmart and give them the claim # and get it verified. then Mr. green would deliver the prize in an hour or hour and half. I asked Mr. Lopez how he got my cell phone number. he said from an entry I recently made. I have made no entries in 5 or 6 years. I asked if it was legitamate. He said it was, but I had to get in my car and call him when I was on my way. he congratulated me and said it was no gimmick.

What do you think. I didn’t go to walmart. it is 40 miles away.

It happened about an hour ago (7/20/16 about 1:53pm), he said he was with the Federal Marshall’s Office and he read off a badge number which had 6 numbers in it. And then he goes I won $3.5 million and a new car. He said they would be there in 35 minutes (the people from Publishers Clearing House), he goes I need to have my driver’s license and he says I need a state id number. He said there would be two state attorneys with him and they would ask for this, but that I need to go to Walmart and send $150 cashiers check or MoneyGram to Cynthia Cavender and he said I had to have the name spelled correctly. And he said send that to Elkhart, Indiana. No address, no nothing just that. And he said when they brought my $3.5 million  and new car they would give me the $150 back. And he goes how long can you do that, and I said it would take me about 35 minutes, he goes that would be great, because they will be there in 35 minutes, and then he goes let me call the truck, you can hear me dial the number and listen to my conversation, he says go ahead put your name on the check because I would be home waiting on it. And he goes I want to congratulate you again he goes they are in your area they will be there. That’s when I was looking for BBB’s number. Then he calls me back and says where you at. I said I had car trouble its going to take me a little longer to get there. He says do it as quick as you can because they will be there in 35 minutes (he had said that for the 10th time). He hung up and I haven’t heard back from him since.

I received a call this afternoon from someone saying I had won $6 million from publishers clearing house. I stayed on the phone with them for about half an hour. The first guy transferred me over to someone else who gave me his spill and instructions on what I needed to do to claim my prize. Then he said I needed to send them $3500. I hung up when he said that!
