Man (William Keely) called claiming that grandson was in jail due to DUI/Reckless Endangerment charges and that he had hit a woman who was texting while driving. The woman was pregnant and was in the ICU. He needed bail money of $2,500. When we said we did not have that kind of money, he said he could get a "Hardship Waiver" to bring it down to $1,500. Then to $1,000.

We called the grandson and he was fine and on his way to work.

Someone called me over the phone stating that he was my grandson who got into an accident and that he sounded funny because he broke his nose. He was stating that he needed me to post bail $1475 because of the accident to the Atlantic City, New Jersey’s Public Defender’s Office because of the accident. He told me to call Paul Waxman who was the NJ Public Defender at 8452088608. I called the number and spoke with someone who claimed that he was Paul Waxman and that the bail money was completely refundable. I called my daughter who stated that she was picking up my grandson at school and he was not in any accident.
