I was browsing on the internet and a page popped up, saying that credit card, social security and passwords would be compromised if I didn’t call the number given. I called the number, they were saying there was a software issue with my computer and in order for them to fix it the cost would be $250. I was skeptical, but didn’t want to have to get a new computer so I gave debit card info, and the money was taken, but they weren’t able to fix anything. when asked for a refund the people grew angry and said a refund would be given, which never happened. they said a refund would hit my account in 10-15 days, after that time passed I call again, and they said the refund went through, but something was denied which is why they money never showed in my account. I am a college student and need a refund as soon as possible.
