Type of a scam Online Purchase

I recently purchased a dietary aid over the internet, I mistakenly thought this was a product I had seen on Dragon’s Den (my mistake)! I received the "sample product", at the agreed upon purchase price + shipping. I was fine with this, the product was received on July 17th. This was fine, however on July 31st they then charged my account for an additional $119.95, then charged me again on August 2nd for another additional charge of $115.95. Neither of these charges were authorized! I spoke to my bank who advised me to contact the company and request a refund. I did this effective July 31st as soon as I saw the first charge, I was unable to reach the company and was forced to leave a voice mail, not receiving a call back I called again on August 1st, again no answer and received voice mail, left another message. This morning I found the second charge of $115.95 on my credit card and again called my bank. They have told me to cancel my card and again to call the company, I have done so however their response is that I am at fault and should have cancelled immediately, they are fighting me on a refund for these charges, and pretending they did nothing wrong. I have not signed any contracts with this company, and do not want these charges continuing. The company is entirely misleading in their information and leave you to believe you are getting a sample product for the amount of $4.00 + shipping and handling. Not at all the case! This is a company which should not be allowed to operate in Canada as they are delivering misleading and fraudulent information.
