Prize patrol

Cheryl – Feb 27, 2020

Received a call from David Sanders said he was from P.C.H. I was told I won 5.5 million dollars and the presentation was 2 27 2020 at 330 pm I would also get a 2020 ford explorer. I was told that 2500 would have to be paid to put title in my name and that internal revenue will be there to file against me for taxes also. Maybe you can clarify any of this.

I’ve gotten calls all day long from Bryant Cassidy badge number 1994 w/Prize Patrol. He always starts by asking if I remember him. He wants me to buy a Green Dot card. I’m supposed to have won $63,000. My prize number is 1910US. He wants a $400 fee to pay the taxes. He said he was going to deposit $25000 from Bank of America into my savings account today to help me pay the fees. He asked for my bank information. He said he wants to meet me at my bank. He swears up and down it’s not a scam. I can hear a lot of calls in the background. He calls my cell phone.

Received telephone call this morning from man who said his name was David Patterson and he was a prize patrol driver. Told me to call this telephone number 425-296-2305 ext. 7 to set up an appointment. I did a reverse look up and discovered this was a land-line phone number in Washington state. I called & spoke with man who told me his name was Albert Johnson. Mr. Johnson asked me if I had received any winning letters in the mail but couldn’t tell me what sweepstakes I had won. He did a "check" and found I had won 3.5 million dollars, 500,000 in a box and a 2016 Mercedes benz (it is now 2018) – I had to have ready 2 forms of id and pay them 5,000 for my part of the taxes. I knew then it was a scam and told him he had fallen & bumped his head if he thought I was giving him $5000 and hung up the phone.

I just received a call from: Prize Patrol 844-999-7719 with a callback number of 888-447-7310 x430 Peter saying I have won $25,000. I looked this up in white pages and it says scam/fraud, high risk. I tried to chat and was unable to.

I have received phone messages today from a man calling himself Peter, previously the person’s name was Kyle, 888-263-1974 ext. 917, different phone # same message. They both claim winnings of $25,000 cash for entry made previously. I have not made any entries to anyone. I feel they are both scams and am reporting this to the ScamPulse.com in hopes that no one else is taken in. I have not called either number back.

Total money lost $7,175

Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

Was convinced by Mr Dave that I was the second place winner and would receive500,000, 5,000 a month for life, and a Mercedes. They would deliver that same night but first I needed to overnight via UPS $275. and $6,900. wrapped in bubble wrap in 2 separate padded envelopes. I was not to tell anyone, as they wanted to capture the faces of genuine surprise when they arrived.

Unfortunately being a very sick elderly woman I believed something truly wonderful was happening for my family at our time of need.

Please don’t let this happen to others.
