I got contracted by this company to do some work. Upon finishing the work, the "decision maker" as he called himself, refused to pay me. For a steady week he kept saying "tomorrow…tomorrow." I finally went in again under the guise of presenting him with a proposal. He was not happy with my proposal. Upon leaving, he once again said "I’ll send the money to you today." I waited all day….nothing. I finally text him and he said "Monday." I told him he’s been blowing me off for a week and this was unprofessional. He said he couldn’t do anything for me. I told him just send me money from his personal account and pay himself Monday. He got upset and started gloating that he didn’t have to pay me. We had a back and forth until I finally told him at the advice of my attorney, I was instructed to not contact him. Monday came and went…still no payment. Finally, on Wednesday, I called the cops to escort me to get my check. He started lying to the cops about me threatening him, and how I said I didn’t want to be paid because I wanted to sue instead. He further lied and said he was not authorized to pay me. He had a coworker vouch for him. She looked terrified. I left without being paid, but I filed a police report and I plan on taking him to court. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY!
