Scammer called cell phone, from a restricted phone number four times in a row. Finally answered and scammer was offering tech support on a computer update. We own no computer. Scammer insisted we turn on the computer even though he was told we had none. When I asked for his company information, he refused to give spelling and phone number. Finally got a phone number and he still insisted we turn our computer on. Again, I told him we had none and that we would be reporting his scam. There was an incredible amount of background noise and no supervisor to speak with.

received email stating subscription is up for renewal. call James Morgan Senior manager Premium Tech Support to cancel subscription, or be charged renewal fee of $500.00.

Called 929-359-4750 – had me enter premiumhelpus.com so could download team viewer.dng file 210921209 password ****** onto my computer. entered various info. name, password, email. wanted bank account info – told him not entering bank account info. shut computer down. two hours later tried to restart computer. computer pass word had changed. cannot log into computer. tried calling 929-359-4750 – no answer.

i was called about a refund on a purchase made to fix computer my husband said it was 500 he told me to look into my bank account and put amount to be refunded he then said i put 5000.00 instead of 500.00 and he was going lose his job had me go get 8 gift cards to pay him back at 500 a piece thats 4000.00 they got that money because they took my 5000.00 out of my savings acct and somehow put into my checking i was very scared so i did what they asked i lost over 4200.00 they also threatened me and locked my out of my computer

My Norton anti virus was not working so I looked up in the internet and called the number I thought was Morton. Tech took control of my computer which I old as I thought I was talking Norton that Tech transferred me to senior tech and also wanted control of my computer he offered 3 service plan unlimited at $599 I should have realized something was fishy when he said no cards but wanted a check and routing number Tech Sean proceeds to give me an authorization number to give to them when I speak to them told me not to listen to anyone that may call

I realized when my bank called me if they should pay item I said yes unfortunately the bank told me there was a problem with that company on many of their customers as I hung up I called the bank back to stop payment but it was paid I explained the situation to the bank and put in fraud complaint I had to close my account and reopen a new one because these scammers had my banking information I called the actual Norton support filing a complaint and the tech reversed anything these scammers did to my computer The real Norton tech told me they would never charge for Tech support on their product I purchased the bank did refund me my money now I am getting calls from these people wanting the money I told Nancy I was scammed and ripped off by their company and they falsely said they were a Norton tech.

I have learned my lesson and want to make other people aware so they don’t get ripped off

I allowed this company onto my computer, ostensibly, to have them delete malware. As the call continued, I came to my senses and realized that I really knew nothing about this company–Premium Tech Support. I ended the call.

Since then I receive at least 3 calls from someone representing PTS. They tell me that I have a refund, and that they must access my computer to receive the refund. I refused.

Today, I received an email telling me that my PTS subscription was about to expire and that money would be debited from my UFCU account to continue the subscription. The email also said that I should call the Senior Manager, James Morgan if I had questions. I called the number included in the email: 1-929 377 7622. No one answered the phone, so I left a message saying, emphatically, that I wanted to cancel the subscription immediately. I have told this to others, nameless, who called me. In about 30 minutes (approximately at 12:50, CST) from a person with a south Asian accent. I told him that I wanted to cancel whatever subscription he thought I had with PTS. He said that I had contracted with PTS for these services. I said that I must see a copy of that contract. He demurred. I don’t know what will happen.

I received a call from Premium Tech Support. Claim they charged my credit card for computer support. I had to go to my computer and plug in information to get a refund. I asked how did you get my phone number. He could not answer me. I said you should not be calling me. I have no computer. I believe it is a scam. I could hear men talking in the background telling people to go to their computers and provide information. I called the number back. 424-240-7354. I got two different men. Stated they charged my credit card and I would get a refund. I told the guy I am reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. He hung up. I don’t want people to get scammed.

I signed up for tech support for a computer which no longer could get tech support from maker. I was with the company for a few months when they emailed saying they were going to access my account for an additional $500. I said no, and wanted my original money back. They agreed, but claimed to have put $5000 into my account instead of $500. I did see the entry in my account. They only owed me $1,200. So I said I would return their money. They said if I moved money out of personal account into business account, I would be charged 24%. They said if I bought gift cards and relayed money to them this way, I would avoid charge. This was basically the scam. I lost quite a lot of money in the transaction. Never buy gift cards for this type of thing.

Received email followed by phone call. They requested bank account info to pay alleged bill for tech support, and asked for last 4 digits of Social and passwords. They threatened charges on bank account and lockdown of computer. They were able to lock the computer, but I changed all my passwords and alerted my bank.

A pop up came up on my computer with a person claiming that my system had been compromised and I needed to take immediate action to prevent them from getting any of my personal info. The way it was worded, it seemed as if they were from apple, so it didn’t raise red flags immediately as we love our apple products. He swindled me out of almost $1000 of software claiming it would take care of the problem. Then about a month later I get a phone call stating that they had been monitoring our system with the software they uploaded and some hackers had gotten into our system and it was now compromised. They told me they would run a bunch of tests and then let me know how bad it was. They said it would take 24 hours and it wouldn’t cost me anything since I paid for the package up front. Then after that 24 hours, they called and said I needed to purchase $300 worth of google play cards so they could download the software and then they reimburse me, so I did. Then two days later they asked for $400 more in google play cards, and i’d be reimbursed and I stupidly went and did it. Then two days later they said they’d need to send out a tech to my house to replace some software and our router and they needed an additional $600 and would bring me cash or a check when the tech came for $1300. That’s where I drew the line. I had an uneasy feeling most of the time, but just couldn’t quite convince myself. the last time we talked on the phone and they asked for the additional $600 they showed me this "govt" site and all the countries the hackers were coming from and an actual picture of a gentleman and asked me if I knew him. I said no, this is a joke and have called my credit cards and reported the scam. The company name is Premium Tech Support.

October 30 2018, pop up warning on my computer warning of system crash, leading me to allow technician access to my computer, sign up and pay for and install software security.

Later online investigation of the company Premium Tech Support and Nexway indicates a criminal scam. An email on March 16 2019 indicated further charges would incur automatically for continued services.

Attempts to contact these companies at the phone numbers provided resulted in an immediate disconnect.

Received a message on my computer that it was corrupted. Gave me a number to call to fix it. Looked like a Macafee or MAC site. Charged my credit card $299. This was 6 months ago. Then they kept calling me and leaving messages that my computer was corrupted again. Their number showed as Scam Likely. They sent an email yesterday saying I signed up in June 2015 and they were going to automatically renew the service for 3 years for $599. Called the number to make sure they didn’t charge my card. They said I have to be in front of my computer, because they have to get back into my computer to cancel it. My credit card company disputed the $299 charge.

I read some reviews about Premium Tech Support which sounded good(that they probably wrote) and so I purchased their computer security program. They called me about 8 months later to say their system crashed and they needed to refund about $600 I paid for their unlimited service since I am a computer [censored]. Yesterday we finally connected and they said they needed the credit card info to refund the money. Like an [censored] I gave that to them. While we were finishing up the transaction I got a voicemail from Western Union that this transaction had to go thru to verify a payment that I was making to them for $631 plus $7.01 that was a "ping" transaction to make sure the CC was good. In the mean time they said that CC wasn’t working so I needed another CC to do the refund with. They tried 3 times to withdraw $631 an one went thru but was stopped by my bank and Western Union thank goodness. When he asked for my bank account info I said not a chance on this planet and he hung up on me. Fortunately for me my banks quick fraud detection alerted me to this SCAM and we were able to stop it. Funny enough, this morning I received a phone call saying a lady was the owner of the house I live in(which she is not) and I went off on her. This may not be related but too much of a coincidence. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.

I had pop up ads on my computer saying I had a virus. I clicked on the add and my phone rang. I paid for the service. Months later I was called again saying they wanted to give me a refund. They got access to my computer to give me the refund. It was suppose to be a $700 refund. They ended up depositing $7000. Little did I know that they got into my savings account and transferred my own money to make it look like a refund. I should have known better, however I did send them a check for what I thought was to difference. They called back and said that they had to deposit the money back to my account, when in fact they were just taking more money from my savings. They were also very adamant that I not do any on-line banking due to fact that Chase bank was monitoring my account. All the while they were taking money from my account. Because I wrote and sent checks, it looks like I will not get any money returned to me.

This is concerning my parents dad died this age 89 mom age 77. These people took advantage of my dad got his credit card # received 1 payment. When i realized what had happened and put a stop to it. It was at that time they shut my moms computer down never being able to be used again. Brought it to a specialist they couldn’t get it unhacked. Persistent daily phone calls even after I told them my died . now calling saying they have a refund for my 77 year old mother. They said they just need me to turn on the computer. Not going to get this one locked up. Please these people are taken advantage of the elderly, scam them out of their money and then when you won’t pay hacking their computers to the point they are irreparable. Please help get justice

Somehow – they froze our laptop and it said to call the above number to get help. My husband was in the middle of buying a " Platinum Computer Support Plan for Senior Citizens" for $499.99 when I intervened…

Luckily – we were able to contact the credit card company to reverse the transaction…
