Online Job Scam with Postalboard LLC. On June 9, I accepted an at home job with postalboard as an shipping clerk. My job was to receive incoming shipment of merchandise, prepare merchandise for shipping by taking photos of the items received and making sure items were not damaged and prepare them for shipment, I was to also keep records concerning transactions. I was to devote ten hours of week of doing work. The company was to pay $2500.00 plus $25.00 for every package sent out on time, payable monthly payroll periods. I was set up to use their dashboard to do my work from home to keep a record of everything coming in which consisted of power tools, radio equipment, mary kay items, and out. For an entire month, I had to check in before 9:00am by signing on the dashboard to see if I had package coming in and to update it accordingly. I was given several supervisors who supposedly worked in shipping whom I talked with daily with any question or concerns. I provided these people my bank account information, my social security number and my mother’s address which I did the work from. I was also sent a W-2 form for tax purposes. They also have a copy of my driver’s license. I am horrified. I feel I’ve been scammed and extremely embarrassed. I even quite my full time job because I thought this was a legitimate company. The closer my pay date came around and passed, I could not reach anyone, by email or phone. I could not get back everything documented even their bogus employment contract. I feel so embarrassed, I only wanted to make a little extra money into my work dashboard because they blocked everything and I never got paid for my work completed. These people need to be caught. I’m no longer receiving any packages but am receiving some mail that they told me to never open but to always report it on the dashboard. I have. I never got paid.

Type of a scam Employment

Postal Board LLC has promised me & my family a great work from home opportunity checking & shipping packages from our house. Our base pay was said it would be $3000 monthly & $25 for each package we received & shipped. We had to except the task, wait for the package, open & inspect the product & take pictures of it & the packing slip & download them onto their website. Then get the package taped back up & tear off the old shipping label & put on the label that they had us download for them & have it shipped within 3 hours of receiving the package. The product always came in addressed to somewhere & someone who lives in our wonderful United States of America & the label they gave us to ship it back out was always to be shipped to someone overseas in Baghdad, Iraq, Iran, or some place in India with a long name that No one can read or pronounce. After 1 month of spending all of my money on packing supplies & gas to take these packages to shipping stations , Postal Board stopped responding to me. My family & I didn’t get paid a penny & no matter how I tried to get a hold of them, there was no response. They also sent us other peoples mail from Paypal & Synchrony Bank with our address & asked us to hold onto all of it until they can figure out what they want us to do with it. This is very scary & wrong! We were not only scammed by these horrible people but they also have all of our personal information from our phones & computers. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT AGREE TO WORK FOR THIS *** *** THAT CALL THEMSELVES ‘POSTAL BOARD LLC!

I was “hired” by Postal Board, LLC (3537 36th St, Astoria, NY 11106) to work from home as a shipping clerk on June 13, 2019. The job promised to pay $2500-$4000 a month for shipping goods internationally. Once I inquired, I was contacted by Cindy Carlson, who claimed to be the HR rep. She contacted me numerous times as she seemed very adamant on getting the hiring process started. I forwarded all documentation necessary (ID, W-4, banking info, etc.) when starting a new job. After that, I was contacted by Ron Grant, who took care of setting up my access and login information on the portal/dashboard I was to use. Rita Camacho was my assigned manager and I spoke with her regularly. Shortly after I was set up to begin working, I received shipping supplies (UPS boxes, tape, etc.) in the mail. The job entailed accessing the dashboard daily and checking for new items that were in-transit. Once these items were received at my home address, I was to alert them through the dashboard that the package was received, take a picture of the product, upload it, and then request a shipping label to re-ship. The shipping labels were typically FedEx or UPS labels. Once I received the requested label, I would drive to my local FedEx or UPS store to drop off the package. Aside from the packages, there was correspondence addressed with different names. They specifically advised NOT to open the mail and that all of the letters would be collected and sent at the end of the billing cycle. Unbeknownst to me, the correspondence were all credit denial letters from Synchrony Bank and PayPal. My first pay was scheduled to be on July 13, 2019, which was never received. It’s been a few days and I have not been able to reach any of the aforementioned. My time was completely wasted and I am now concerned with identity theft.

PLEASE BE AWARE, THIS IS A SCAM!!! It is an elaborate scheme and they will go through great lengths to make it appealing and seem legitimate. The working numbers and emails and overall fact that I was able to communicate with live people almost on a daily basis, made it seem real.

I’ve noted below some of the contacts’ information…numbers and emails that are no longer in service.

Cindy Carlson – email: [email protected] / Tel: 914-202-4342

Charlie Swain – email: [email protected] / Tel: 914-719-7262

Rita Camacho – email: [email protected] / Tel: 914-719-7892

Ronald Grant – email: [email protected] / Tel: 914-719-7261

This company would tell you to ship out material or item that come to your home address. they would send you label from there dash board that you will be prompt to places the label on the package and go to your local post office, FedEx , Ups and send out the package . The name on the package is not the name you sending it to. You would take picture of the item, the receipt to track the package and any invoice that come in the box. You would load this information on the dashboard it seem so real. The company will tell you they would pay you a salary of 3800 dollar and you will receive it once a month and when it time for you to get pay they would block you. You do not get pay for the service. This company will send you out credit card information to your home from different people but they using people social security number to try to get pay pal credit cards to buy these item and ship it out to you and someone or the person they shipping these stole item pay for the item and person that working for them meaning us do have no idea. the credit card letter will say different people name but they sending the letter to your house so it looking like we using these people information and social security number . so if we get in trouble if a person report it the person address they sending it to will get blame and not them.

I was hired, for work from home, as a shipping clerk with PostalBoard, LLC. My job was to receive packages, open to verify not damaged, and reship. Pay was a monthly salary and $25 each package shipped. The instructions were to Log into their system and access my dashboard. The dashboard contained the following information. Customer name, item being received, how I was receiving (fedex, UPS, USPS, DHL) and date to be received with tracking number. I was to mark an item received in the dashboard, open package and take a photo and upload to the dashboard, request a shipping label, wait for shipping label to be uploaded by the company to the dashboard, print the shipping label and then reseal the package and tape shipping label on it and drop at appropriate carrier office. Then mark the item sent in the dashboard. I was hired 6/5/19 with my 1st pay to be deposited 7/5/19. Pay never received, locked out of company dashboard 7/6/19 and never received any further reply emails or phone calls. I received additional emails from "supervisors" with alternate email addresses and phone numbers as follows: Cindy Karlsson – [email protected] – 914-202-4342, Charlie Swain – [email protected] – 914-719-7262, Ebba Powell – [email protected] – 914-719-7892, Rita Comacho – [email protected] – 914-719-7892, Ronald Grant – [email protected] – 914-719-7261

Postalboard.us is a scam. They contacted me to be a “SHIPPING CLERK” to accept packages and expect them and ship them out. They lie and say your base salary will be $2500/month and $25 for every package sent out on time. ITS A LIE THEY ARE SCAMMING; stealing packages. Be warned people. "Postal Board" LLC – does not exist!!! These guys make you jump through hoops to scam you into becoming part of a much more intricate scam. The general scam is you are hiring as a "shipping clerk" where you go through a whole actual interview process and they have the nerve to put on their so called employee portal beware of the "Bad Guys" what a joke… they are the bad guys.

So here’s how this works, they contact you via Career Builder (in my case) with a email like this:

"We are considering you as the new Shipping-Clerk for our company.

!!!!USA Residents Only.

Key responsibilities include receiving goods and packages via mail, processing and checking them, working closely with the supervisors and making reports of work done.

We are paying $2500/ monthly + 25$ bonus for every package and all applicable bonuses.

Reply to this e-mail your name, phone and we will get in touch with you."

Then once you provide your name and contact, you will get various emails 1st informing you that they have verified your information.

2nd: Informing you that your application has been approved with a link to watch this video: http://pc.cd/n8yrtalK .

3rd. Employment interview. Then the emails keep coming: Welcome to the shipping department:

"I officially welcome you to our team in the shipping department!

Now you need to create an account on the Dashboard. Go to http://postal-dashboard.com/user/ (add this link to your bookmarks), set up your username and password, provide the information required and click "Submit". I will review your account, set it up and activate it shortly.

After you receive an email confirmation (within 2-3 hours), you can log in and check "Help" for the detailed instructions and guidelines. You need to go to the same link but this time enter user name and password which you created on registration process.

We will route packages to your address. You will start receiving them in 3-4 business days. Remember, you need to check your Dashboard for updates at least twice a day.

Keep in touch for daily instructions. Please do not hesitate to contact me for assistance and any questions or concerns.

Thanks.

Ronald Grant

Then once you complete that part you are to upload your ID or SSN – note: even if you blank out your ID number (they can easily pull it up on the dark web)

Then they ask you to go open accounts with USPS/FEDEX/UPS – and have you order free supplies. They then bombard you with emails about supervisors/dashboard manuel etc. Sounds great right? NOPE!

These people are using skimmed credit card info to purchase items in your name and ship it to your home, where you now are left handling stolen property to ship using their prepaid labels of course to other countries. If someone gets caught, the cops are showing up at your door since it looks like you did the scam being it was purchase using your name and address.

I have attached an image of the so called employee portal to show you guys how elaborate the scam is:
