I receive a letter today from this company saying "Notice of Bank Levy" see attached.
This is the 1st letter I ever received from them, and came as a surprise to me saying I have a loan from their client Check N Go in the amount of $5750.79; and that I refused/and or not responded to their several attempts to resolve this debt. The attached letter says "Notice of Bank Levy".
To my knowledge I never have a debt with Check N Go nor did I ever co-sign for anyone.
I also never received any attempts either in writing or call from Portfolio Affiliated Services LLC regarding this debt.
I believe, this is one of the scam happening to senior citizens like me, especially with current pandemic crisis.

I received the attached letter in the mail last week and I thought it was real because the letter had my whole SS# and date of birth on it. I called the number and a man answered the phone said his name was David and claiming to be a debt collector on behalf of Check n Go. I told him I don’t owe anything and then he read off my driver’s license number and told me where I use to work. I asked him for supporting documents because this is wrong and at that point he hung up in my face.
