Type of a scam Debt Collections
My wife was contacted by the above company about a supposed debt that is 16 years old. She was threatened with garnishment of her SSDI check, (she is disabled ) if she did not pay in full. She was informed that they were going to turn this so called debt over to the IRS and that they would enact a garnishment. My wife’s father was contacted by this company first and given a message to give to her to contact Pinnacle Asset, he relayed the message and my wife contacted them. She was made hysterical by this contact. We believe it to be a scam to steal funds by illegal threat of garnishment of my wife’s SSDI.
