Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was in search of a Corgi pup to welcome to our new home. I went on craigs list and found what I thought was a nice woman whose son had passed away. She was giving away these pups because she could not care for all of them herself. She said the only thing I would need to pay is the cost of travel which is where I started to become very skeptical. She told me she would register the pup at the facility and they would be emailing me with the confirmation and payment option. The company "Pets Flyers Cargo USA" sent me an email with all the information in regards to the traveling, however it got phishy when they said the only payment option they would accept is a money Gram. They said they don’t accept online payments because of the way their account and system was set up. My red flag sensor went off and so I asked them to send me a picture of my pup in his crate ready to go. They emailed me back a picture that was obviously pulled off of google, however, the dog in the picture wasnt even the correct breed or color. When I questioned them about it they became very rude and defensive. I hate scams and this one by far was the worst. Imagine if I would have paid the $320, thats a lot to loose to someone who steals from people for a living. I got in touch with the owner and explained that I will not be paying the traveling company that they are rude and a scam and she may use the vet transport I contacted myself. She told me how she would never steal from anyone, and threw her religion in the mixture for protection. I stood my ground and Have heard no response sense.
The same happened to me where they said why am I not picking up my phone and this was useful I thought it was true but what’s funny was that a lady actually contacted me saying that there giving away a golden retriever puppy so I looked and searched and I do not trust these people at all the website was so fake and they jammed a bunch of numbers to create a delivery information which was weird and when I called it said talk to hear google voice, which was skeptical, I love when I check., and I love how people just love to scam if u can search for a dog around your area that would be a better option
