We contacted Perkins website about buying a maine [censored] kitten. Their website says they are located in Dallas, Tx. We were contacted by Dominick Garner, Denver, Co phone number 443-543-6792. He sent forms asking questions to determine we were a good home for kitten. He sent pictures of kittens parents. We wanted to see cat in Dallas, he told us this cat was at their LA cattery. We agreed buy kitten for $850. He sent contract we signed and returned. He asked we send money western union and we did. We later recieved email from pet shipping company asking for $2300 insurance. We finally realised what was going on and asked for our money back. He tried to scam us with something from craigs list then google codes. He told us there was no refunds and if we didn’t pay insurance fee they would have us charged with animal abandonment. We didn’t respond and that’s the last we heard. I found his phone number linked to 3 other websites selling cats and dogs.
