Received a mailer June 30th, from Performant Recovery, PO Box 9045 Pleasantown CA 94566
It says that they are a debt collector, collecting for the IRS. It has a certification number and it has the amt owed, along with a breakdown of how that amount was reached. Consumer has never been contacted by the IRS regarding a debt, and she is concerns this is a scam to take money from her that she does not believe she owes.
