Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I have been online looking for a personal loans specifically for bad credit. On the website it keeps redirecting to different lenders. Then sometime later I received a text saying that I am approved and to call them back. To confirm my information. All good until they get to the money part. They tell me I have to make a payment before I can get the loan. Because my credit is bad. And they have to get approval from the "FDIC". THAT seemed fishy to me. So I called the "FDIC" myself. Only to find out it was a scam. So I called him back and he wasn’t very happy and hung up.
