Type of a scam Tech Support

I received a call from a representative claiming to work for PC Matic. He advised that the computer antivirus software/service which I had ordered was going to be refunded. I never ordered any type of product, and the fact that he would not provide me with a legitimate customer service rep ID#, his company’s address and ScamPulse.com number also made it challenging for him to get passed my sixth sense. His way of putting me in touch with his "supervisor" was also very unprofessional. He just passed the telephone to him at which point the "supervisor" asked "who is SHE?" I could hear the "others" talking in the background. They all had foreign accents. I called the real PC MATIC (PC PITSTOP) and spoke to Sheila to advise her of the scam. She advised that this is an international issue. She was grateful for the information. She was also happy to see that I did not fall for this scam. Several companies are targets of this international scam, so please BEWARE!
