In November of 2018, I had an issue with Microsoft Office 365. I looked up M/S on-line (using Google…). The listing I got was PC Experts, listed as a Microsoft Tech Representative.. Long story short, they weren’t M/S, they talked me into allowing them access to my computer and showed me all kinds of horrible things that were infecting my system. Then they charged me $400.00 to ‘clean’ it, installed Webroot Security and have since called back saying there are problems and they need to check them out. Like a fool I let them into my computer again…and they claimed my network was corrupted/hacked. This time something clicked in my head and I refused their offer to hand over $200.00, or more for their ‘service’. I called my network provider who said everything was fine. Just change my passwords.

Received a phone call today, 9-14-2017 from a very pushy female stating my email was hacked from someone who was using my social security number, email address. The hackers were in mexico. She only gave me her web site address and wanted me to go to my computer and check out the web address, she gave me. I know from my local computer expert, these individuals who are calling are not legit. Received other similar phone calls. Just another case in point, computers aren’t safe, just like equifax systems being hacked, then a certain politician, is setting such a great example. I had to throw that in too.
