Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I had a contact from my online norwex business about placing a order, however he was in process of moving, didn’t have PayPal or cc, had to pay by check. it was a large order, however he didn’t say the check was in the mail til 3 weeks later, the day after I received 4 suspicious emails about activating a Verizon account. Which I don’t have verizon. The check that was coming was going to be over order amount and he was requesting me to deposit it in a separate account. I declined because I was already suspicious but unfortunately I think he is using my identification to buy things, hence the Verizon activation out of new Jersey and the calls from new york.
