Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

The fictitious person responsible is Andre Enzor. He made me believe that I was chosen to be in an AllState Insurance commercial. He asked me which role I would be interested in… said I could even bring along someone to the shoot so that I would be comfortable, etc. It seems like I was not the only person he has approached, as there are a couple of reports on BBB. IT IS A SCAM!

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received emails from this Andre Enzor from Parkview Pictures saying that I was to model and act in an Allstate commercial and that I would be receiving $***. I went along with sending my information and pictures, thinking it was a real company, they had a fancy website and everything. So they sent me a check via USPS but with a different company’s information: R&P Pools in California. I went to the bank to deposit the check and they called a couple of different numbers to make sure it was legit before they could deposit it and it turned out that it was fraudulent. They took a copy of my ID and the check so I cannot post the check here.

Do not sign anything. The so called casting director Andre seems to only respond late at night because he is half way around the world. Promised to give me $*** Up-Front then another $*** for wardrobe which is rediculous. No one gives out checks without meeting you first. Even their website was a red flag with videos that were not theirs and complete paragraphs that came from other productions websites. Crazy enough their so called office number really worked and had a legit voicemail but don’t be fooled. They tried to seem like they cared in emails even mentioning an acting coach on set and saying that you can bring someone with you to set to make you comfortable. They asked what role I was interested in with no specs RED FLAG . They sent a “success letter” RED FLAG. Never replied during the day RED FLAG. They were send me money without ever speaking to me RED FLAG. Never gave me specifics about the shoot or role RED FLAG

Type of a scam Employment

I received this email from a Actor’s Casting resource site "CastingNetworks.com. After submitting to a commercial role, they solicited me for an acting job and requested that I sign a contract (as is customary) to secure the job.

After some back and forth emails requesting additional images of myself (which is customary) I received a contract attachment and a congratulatory letter stating I was cast in the role without an in person audition (which is not always the case, but not uncommon).

After reading and signing the contract, I returned it via email as requested.

I receiveda confirmation of receipt and a letter telling me they would forward a date, time, location for the shoot. Again, customary practices. I wanted to know some more about the client, so I did some online research and after much digging, I discovered from others scammed like me that they use your signed contract as a release for the use of personal information and likeness.

https://www.parkviewpictures.com is obtaining IP, personal information, and likeness under deceptive conditions, with the promise of employment in exchange.

Within 24 hours, they’ve made additions to their site, which makes me think their scam is growing large.

I grew suspicious when I read from others scammed that they offer to send a check for wardrobe expenses (which is not customary).

I do not have a way of sending the entire info/email in just 1 .jpg images, but I have them all and would be happy to send under separate cover.
