I got a letter stating that I was being sued for a debt I have no knowledge of and is over 10 years old based on the dates mentioned. They have threatened garnishment or liens being placed and reported to credit bureaus.

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I received a letter from this company stating I took a PayDay loan out 12 years ago and closed my account which is Fraud. I have never taken out a loan of such. I called the number listed and was harassed to make a payment for something I did not do. If this accrued 12 years ago why is this the first letter being sent? I asked for an original copy of the debt and was told that was unavailable and my only option was to pay the debt. I would advise everyone be aware of this company.
