I am an intelligent person, but not a technological wise person. So when I got a pop up stating that me banking info was compromised I will be honest I did panic a bit. That is when he had me, that and the fact that he only ever asked for access to computer to help stop the "hacker". In my mild panic it never occurred to me that he could be the hacker. So I stupidly said sure stop the bad guy….what a [censored] I was. My brain was screaming NO, but my panic took over. He worked for the longest time and then asked for money $200 for the clean up and another $99 if I want protected from this for a year. At this point I felt like I had to pay him he had control of everything I owned at his finger tips. I was afraid if I said no I would wake up with no identity and no money. Just don’t let this happen to you.
