Message on Google account stating my lite security had run out and they were taking 394.99 out of my account. This is something I didn’t apply for. I was told to call 2108661219 to take care of it. Norton was at the end of this email.

I received a email from a person claiming to be Norton Life Lock, They claimed I had a past due bill for $679.00 and if I did not take care of this, they would automatically debit my account. I have never did any business with Norton.

I received an email from what looked like Norton antivirus help thanking me for my norton life lock business. I called the number on the email and they gained access to my computer. They claimed they were processing my refund. To get my refund they deposited what looks like $2500 into my checking account. They acted like I screwed up and stole money from the bbb and that all kinds of bad things were going to happen to me unless I went to target and bought $2500 worth of gift cards. I actually went to target because this guy was on the phone with me until I took care of the transaction. Good thing I got hold of the management team who called the police who assured me if the scam.

I was about to put Norton security on my computer that I bought from staples and someone came on from Norton telling me my computer was hacked and I need a advanced subscription of security I said I have security they said it won’t work on my system they scared me there so I agreed they got into my computer said they were cleaning it and it would take a while I gave them my credit card info the first card blocked them so I gave them another and that went through and they put two different security on it but after it was done it didn’t seem right so I got in touch with Norton to ask about my back up that wasn’t there they checked it out and I gave them the order number they looked couldn’t find it and they said call my bank and stop payment it’s a scam so I did call and attempt to stop it. I called the fake Norton to stop the purchase but there’s no answer at that number for payment and billing so I called the support number and told them I’m not happy with it and they said it will take 2 or 3 days to appear on the credit card. I got in touch with Norton again and they checked my computer and said the two programs that were put on aren’t Norton products. The security that was put on seemed like a trial because I jade to add the premium security after 30 days. So I put on the security I bought from staples.

Received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Norton. Claiming that the anti-virus software is out of date and would like to offer me a refund back. In order to do so they need access to my computer. I knew it was a scam so I immediately hung up.
