I received an unsolicited debit card from n***/Liberty Tax Sevice. I did not solicit this card, nor do I want it. The documentation that comes with it, however, does not make it clear that this is a promotion. It appears to be something that, perhaps, your back would send as a replacement debit card when one expires, something one has applied for, etc. In addition fees, overdraft costs, etc. are not clearly indicated. Moreover, when I tried to contact someone via phone in order to have my name permanently removed from their solicitation lists, I could not connect to a human being UNLESS I GAVE THEM MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER (which, needless to say, I did not do). I believe this is a scam to prey upon the unsuspecting, elderly and poor (or all of the above), and should be stopped. At minimum, it ought to be possible to contact the company without giving out a slew of private, personal information
