Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received an e-mail asking to participate as a secret shopper and would be paid $270.00 per assignment. I filled out the information because it didn’t require any bank information or personal information. I received a cashiers check in the mail yesterday in the amount of $3,400 and was very leery of it. I went only today and see that others have had the same issue. What can I do about this. Obviously that much money in my account would be lethal.
