Type of a scam Phishing
I received an email from Office of The Director, Christopher A. Wray, Federal Bureau of Investigation, 935 Pennsylvania Avenue,NW, Washington, D.C. 20535-0001, USA under email address FBI: International Operations Division . Email stated "Mrs. Linda Box, from New York submitted an application to NBB with a power of attorney and some official documents (allegedly signed by you) before the release of your Funds (US$8,000,000.00) to her due to your ill health." I do not know this person. Then the email was signed by Name: Mr. Pierre Wunsch, Boulevard De Berlaimont 14, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.
Email: [email protected] The email asked for me to reply with my full name, home address, cell phone number, date of birth, sex, country & had my work email filled in at bottom. I know this is a scam & it’s frustrating to me, which is why I’m reporting this to the BBB.
