Heavily advertise a "free" service to network with professional women. I "applied." A few days later I received a phone call. At the time, they advertised this service as being free or discounted for students. I was told on the phone that I could access a lot more material if I paid $10.00 worth of dues, so I did. Checked my account later to find I had been charged $1,000. I did some checking around and found that it was a scam. Asked for a refund the next day. After that initial contact, it was impossible for me to get into contact with anyone. If I finally got a person, they would put me on hold….for HOURS…and then hang up. I’m a professional student who is also trying to pay for a wedding. They stole $1,000 from me.
