Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
My wife received a freshbooks.com invoice from this person for $69.92. My wife has never met, emailed, called, or purchased products from Natalie Caviness. When I called Natalie, the conversation went as follows:
Me: Hi Natalie. My wife received an invoice from you, but she has no idea who you are. She’s never purchased a Mark Kay product in her life.
Natalie: Um. That was a mistake. Just tell her to ignore it.
Me: A mistake? How did you get her email address?
Natalie: *click
This was very suspicious and she didn’t answer when I tried to call her back.
