Saw an online ad to try a watch for a few dollars which was okay. You had to check a box accepting their terms & conditions, but I foolishly did not click the link to discover if you didn’t cancel in 14 days you were charged $98 for the watch, you could not return the watch after 14 days and there was no refund. But the worst part was you were agreeing to a "membership" that would continue to send you another watch every 30 days and charge your credit card another $98 and you can not return anything. Upon getting the surprise 2nd watch, I contacted the company and they agreed to cancel my "membership" but would not take back the watches. They offered $50 back if I signed off that I would relieve them of any legal actions. Wanted to warn others so they didn’t get suckered in like I did. Estimate the watch value to be maybe $15-20. Also, you get no email confirmation of the purchase or reminder of the 14-day cancellation reminder or a copy of the terms you "agreed to" (but did not sign).
