My Mom is 88 years old and received a phone call from these scammers. Later send an email to her saying is won a prize and that the monies she is refundable. They also told her that these monies are fees. She was doing checks up to $15,000.00 each once to twice a month. This has been going on since last December 2017 and she has sent them over $100,000.00. They told her not to tell anyone and do her cashiers checks at different locations and each time to put a fake name and address. She still feels that this is not a scam because her money is refundable. Most of the checks was made out to Thomas Dauphin, 309 Church St., Newington, CT 06111.
