Type of a scam Phishing
When i received a call on my land line, I picked up the receiver, but didn’t say anything. The voice on the other end identified themselves as ‘The Municipal Education’ and informed me that this phone call is being recorded. They then asked if I could hear them OK?
I hung up. I called the local police department to ask who I can report this to.
He called the number i gave him and reported back to me that it was from a wireless prepaid phone that has no record of ownership.
