Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
November 16, 2013; a young black guy was going door to door selling magazines. He was dressed in a shirt and tie, very polite. I was outside and he asked me if he could have 5 minutes of my time and that’s when he started telling me about his story of selling magazines so he could better himself. He said I could pay by check or give a donation if I didn’t want to buy magazines. I gave him cash and after 3 months I called to check on why the magazines weren’t delivered. The number on the invoice was disconnected. I never received any magazines or a refund as printed on the invoice. He signed it but I don’t know if that’s his real name.
