MMD Store

I purchased a Fitbit charge 4 from the MMD Store on August 10, 2020 for $104.00, using PayPal. I got the confirmation and was told I would receive an email telling me when it was shipped and that it would take 7-10 business days. On August 24, I sent an email to the email address listed on the account. I never heard back and filed a dispute with PayPal. On August 25, PayPal said that the seller told them it had been shipped and provided a tracking number which said it had been delivered to the side yard. Ups never delivers my packages to any other place but my front porch because we have dogs. Still, I searched everywhere and found nothing. We were home all day that date also. PayPal denied the dispute because they had been given a tracking number. I tried to contact PayPal to tell them that MMD Store is a fraud. But I got nowhere. I removed all my credit cards from my PayPal account because my security has been compromised. I would love to know how they came up with a tracking number that has no validity, yet UPS says it was delivered also even though it wasn’t.

I purchased a Fitbit on Aug 8th. I received a confirmation on my order but after several days of no notification of shipment, I attempted to contact [email protected] and email was undeliverable. I emailed the contact email on the MMD store receipt ([email protected]) with no response. On Aug 18th, I received a shipment delivery notice that the product was delivered and left at my front door. This item was no where to be found and I also checked with many neighbors to see if maybe it was delivered to wrong address. Again tried to contact MMD store with no success. I filed a dispute with my CC company. After reading the other review noting a very similar situation, I agree this is a scam. I’m out $139.99.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I thought I was purchasing a Fitbit from a website that was an affiliate of Fitbit. It was called fitbitactivity.com. When I saw my PayPal receipt was to a place called the MMD Store I tried to block the payment but, was unsuccessful. It was total fraud. I did not receive any product and they provided a shipping number to a business in my town showing a shipment of something weighing 13.5 pounds. A Fitbit is basically a watch.
