Michael Jeffery owner of Mike’s Construction has come by my house last year and this year. The first time was Jan. 19, 2018 and Jan. 13, 2019. He says he’ll do me a favor and repave my driveway with left over gravel. Last year I paid him $3,900. This year he wanted $4,800, but he only got $2,800. He was trying to come through my electric gate, but I let him on the property. He followed me into my house and into my bedroom where I was writing the check and didn’t know he had followed me until I turned around. If I didn’t give him the money he threatened that people would take my house and land. He didn’t give an estimate and said he couldn’t. He doesn’t put the gravel thick enough for my driveway either. I’ve contacted the District Attorney and Sheriff’s Office, but they said there wasn’t much they could do.
