Horrific scam. A man named "Robbie" called me yesterday, said I had won $5.5 million and a new car. Said I should have received something in the mail and when I told him I hadn’t, tried to get me to discuss it over the phone. Gave me a fake confirmation number and "key to my briefcase" and tried to get me to open a bank account so they could deposit $5000 to "start the taxation process". Asked if I could be at my house to meet them. I said I wasn’t comfortable and he got offended, I insisted I wanted to talk to someone in person and asked for an office. He then offered to email me the documents because "you sound young and are likely computer savvy". HA! So, I gave him a junk email that isn’t attached to anything which of course never received anything from him. He gave me a number to call back (703-947-0428) once I had "set up your new bank account" and told me to ask for "Michael Kovaks". THIS IS A SCAM. They are likely trying to get voice recordings of you confirming to use in opening accounts or other scams and trying to get you to confirm information about you. I stayed on long enough to get this info so I could file a complaint. DON’T TALK TO THEM, JUST HANG UP!

  1. I had the same experience. They were going to have a private courier come and take me to my bank. I was to call Wells Fargo Bank and talk to them about the account they have set up for me and then call John Morehouse back. I never went any further. I didn’t call anyone but check out scams on the internet for Mega Million Proctor and Gamble give away for my shopping. I won 23 Million US dollars.
