My father-in-law stated that he received a phone call in July of 2018 from a person who said his name was James Washington from Mega Million Sweepstakes. Mr. Washington said that my father-in-law won $ 800,000 and a Chevy Impala car, and that he needs to pay $15,000 for car tax in order to receive the prize. My father-in-law sent two checks ($ 5,000 and $10,000). Money was sent through FedEx to:

After that a person, who introduced himself as Josh Shapiro from Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office, called and said he wants to help with this scam. Mr. Shapiro’s phone number is 717-288-8264.
