Type of a scam Government Grant
Contacted via a trusted friend’s Facebook account. Informed that there was a large Mega Bonus Government Grant available if I contacted a Messenger account. Contacting the Messenger account I was informed thay various levels of grant were available , up to £1,000,000 if paid some up front admin costs. I was asked to take out a walmart card for the required account then the cash would be FedExed to me within 8 hours. Then received a sucession of messages asking me if I had got the card, was able to talk, was I still on line and would I accept a video link.
Have now told Scott that I was not interested, reported the scam to the UK Trading Standards and blocked the Messenger Account.
